Nancy O'Dell's career began in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as a news reporter and anchor with WPDE-TV. Then, she joined WCBD as anchor for the morning show and as a crime reporter. While in Charleston O'Dell's reporting about the relaxed approach police take to DUI cases resulted in the launch of a State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in State authorities issuing the strictest guidelines regarding these situations. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. In the years following her stint in Charleston O'Dell served as co-anchor and investigative reporter for the NBC Miami station WTVJ-TV prior to her move to Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. O'Dell in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She has co-hosted a variety of Pre-ShowArrivals programs to The Emmys as well as The Golden Globe Awards. Also, she co-hosted Miss America's Pageant as well as the Miss Universe Pageant.
